These are detail views of still frames from a 2006 stop motion animated map which traces my walking route between home and studio. In this video I explore the difference between the vision of the perceptual eye versus that of the mind’s eye. Landmark miniatures are lumped together in a pile and then are individually chosen, looked at through the lens to reveal their connective significance as a part of a traceable route, and then in the sequence of the narrative, are organized to reveal a story.
